Hi everyone! We are happy to announce that the Hoover Math Tournament will be returning on March 12, 2022. As always, we will continue to monitor COVID issues and work to ensure the safety of all participating! Please check back for more info!

Cancellation of the 2021 HHS Math Tournament

It is with deep sadness that we, the Hoover High School Math Team members and Math Department, announce the cancellation of this year’s 2021 Math Tournament scheduled for March 15 due to the continued concerns regarding the coronavirus outbreak.  Hoover High School has always taken a proactive approach to implement measures that ensure the safety of visitors to our campus community and to ensure the academic progress of all students.  Securing you a safe and healthy educational environment in which to compete is paramount to us and we believe the health and welfare of our students and visitors would best be served if we cancel the tournament. 

We would like to thank you all for choosing to spend time with us bringing your best and brightest to compete.  If you have any questions or concerns, please let us know.  We hope to see you in 2022.  Thanks and be safe!
